Pensieri Di Primavera… Thinking Of Springtime…

I find myself,  as I do every year at this time,  thinking of Spring.  We've had some great cold weather and rain,  and hopefully,  as predicted,  lots more rain… Yesterday it was around 80 degrees.  Being in the garden felt like spring,  all the way to sundown… it was gorgeous.  A perfect day to make something pretty,  and fragrant with lovely flower petals and essential oils… just for fun,  and to give away when I need a sweet little something for someone I love…

Un Cappello Per Rebecca… A Hat For Rebecca…

I've been working on a hat for Rebecca for a little while and finally finished it.  I hope that when she finally gets it,  it will fit…I made it green like Giu Giu's hat,  because I think green goes with lots of colors.  I decided to give it a little creamy white trim so that it would be different than Giu Giu's.

Un Piccolo Regalo Dal Giardino... A Small Gift From The Garden...

A simple wreath made from Rosemary,  Bay Laurel,  Nutmeg scented Geranium,  and a few drying roses,  all from the garden,  made a fragrant,   and pretty little hostess gift to take to Virginia's house.  I love simple little bundles , or wreaths,  of fresh herbs,  hanging in the kitchen or pantry looking pretty,  smelling good,  and ready  to use while cooking...

Un Regalo Per Priscilla... A Gift For Priscilla...

Many ,  many years ago,  before Priscilla was even born,  I started this needlework piece.  I loved the simple design and the fact that it was not a typical needlework pattern.  I bought it in the seventies... I started working on it,  then put it away,  and forgot about it.  Years later I came across it,  but still didn't continue working on it.  When I came across it recently,  I decided it needed to be finished.  I still love the design,  and so does Priscilla.  I was surprised and happy  when she told me that she would like to have it.  After all these years,  I would  need to put and end to this project,  and so I did.
I'm happy with the way it turned out... although  not perfect,  I love it...
