Happy Thanksgiving...
Following our yearly traditions, Anna will make a lovely Turkey Dinner, and I will make Pies and the cranberry sauce, and decorate the tables. The meal is pretty much the same... the pies too. If we haven't yet celebrated Edy's Birthday together, I make a cake for her.... And of course, there will be a special cocktail... inspired by the season. The tables are a bit different every year, but similar in that I always use Pumpkins and Natural decor, using Fall colors along with whatever might inspire me that particular year... and always a bit of sparkle. This year we will be a large group of family and a few friends. It will be a special day spent together , thankful for all that we have, and thankful for another year with Mom... the matriarch of the family...

Happy Thanksgiving...
There are Pies in the oven, and a Gingerbread Naked Cake for Edy. It smells like Thanksgiving on this gorgeous (too hot) day... So thankful for wonderful family and great friends...

Thanksgiving…
As tradition goes… I did my part for our Thanksgiving Dinner at Anna and Nicola's. I made the Pies, Cranberry Sauce, and the Decor, and Table Setting… This year I decided to use my dried hydrangea and some dried seed heads from the garden, along with bunches of roses which I allow to dry in the shed and in the kitchen. Natural elements with a touch of gold … So thankful to be having another Thanksgiving with Mom and the rest of the family… It was a great meal, and we all had a wonderful time !

Happy Thanksgiving…
As tradition goes, we will be having Thanksgiving at Anna and Nicola's . Anna will make her spectacular Turkey dinner, usually consisting of two turkeys… One baked in the wood fired Pizza oven and one in the kitchen oven. Anna will do all of the sides, with the exception of the cranberry sauce… i'll make that because I seem to be the only one who wants it. So, I'll make an Orange Cranberry sauce, and as usual, I am in charge of pies and table setting, maybe some rolls. We'll have Apple, Pumpkin and Macaroon pies. We don't really need three pies, but we do like variety…Everyone has a favorite. Golden hues and some natural elements will set the tone for what will surely be another lovely Thanksgiving at Anna and Nicola's… So thankful to be with loving family, wishing it could be the entire family…
