Many, many years ago, when I first became obsessed with Martha Stewart, I fell in love with her Ice Bowls. Made with Flower Petals, Rose Buds, or Herbs, I love them and have been making them ever since. Sometimes I serve Shrimp Cocktail in them ... sometimes Fresh Fruit... This time I filled one with Lemon Verbena Popsicles . A cool and refreshing presentation for a hot summer day...

That is so cool, Mary. I didn't realize you could use the ice once the flowers were in them. I love all the purple colors. You always come up with the most amazing ideas.

I am a new follower and I just wanted to say hello - the photos, and idea, are lovely! I wish I had more guests so I had a reason to make these, but perhaps I'll just make them for myself :)
