Enjoying Autumn colors… it's been so warm, but, finally, it seems to be cooling off and the Liquidambar Tree is showing signs of Fall… still mostly green , but also with some scarlet, gold, and orange.
Carrying the Fall colors into a table setting for a birthday lunch for a good friend, along with a pretty, Pumpkin Spice Cake.
This season is passing quickly, and soon the colors of choice will be red and green, but for me, not until Thanksgiving passes…
Questa tavola autunnale è uno spettacolo! E che dire di quel meraviglioso dolce?! Hai fatto tutto tu?! Complimenti!

I completely agree. It's about gratitude and gathering. It's bringing field and farm to the table. You my friend, bring it with beauty and brilliance. I love your farm table, Mary! There will not be a bauble of Christmas up until December first on 34th Street.

ReplyDeleteThe pumpkin spice cake looks delicious, Mary, and your Autumn table is lovely. I love the roses and the Fall pumpkins. I usually wait to decorate for Christmas after Thanksgiving, but this year I just can't help myself, and it's silver, white, and red all around the house today.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Sunday.
Love,
