Mom's Birthday party was so much fun. The Pom Poms and Flowers made her smile.
She was so happy to see everyone and, at 92, loves being the center of attention. Unfortunately, we were all so busy having fun and eating lots of food that we didn't get very many good photos.
I made two cakes, neither of which do I have a decent picture of... One was a Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting, and the other a Lemon Cake with Cream Cheese and Lemon Curd topped with Handmade Chocolate Roses that I painted with Luster Dust.
Mom with Dr. Lori...
Un party stupendo si direbbe!

Me and you are so much alike, my dear. Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting is one of my very favorites. And these pom pom decorations are the same ones we used at Nel's Bridal Shower. What a fun celebration you had for your mom. Everything looks so lovely. And 92 years is indeed, a very special day.
