Many , many years ago, before Priscilla was even born, I started this needlework piece. I loved the simple design and the fact that it was not a typical needlework pattern. I bought it in the seventies... I started working on it, then put it away, and forgot about it. Years later I came across it, but still didn't continue working on it. When I came across it recently, I decided it needed to be finished. I still love the design, and so does Priscilla. I was surprised and happy when she told me that she would like to have it. After all these years, I would need to put and end to this project, and so I did.
I'm happy with the way it turned out... although not perfect, I love it...
Mary,
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely. She looks so carefree, and I love the yellow flowers. It is something Priscilla can keep forever. Such a treasure for her because it's made special by you.

Very pretty piece. Love the subtle pale yellow threads against the gray and soft linen.
